Everyone knows finding housing in San Francisco — a bizarro world where even modestly-appointed studios rent for north of $2,000 a month — is a nightmare.

And nowhere is that sad, absurd, sometimes bleakly funny reality clearer than on Yelp, where almost too-bad-to-be-believed reviews of apartment complexes abound.

Almost — but not quite.
