View of some of the Cantalloc aqueducts located near the city of Nasca, Peru. There are more than 40 and they were built by the Nasca culture, a pre-Inca civilization of Nazca, about 1,500 years ago. The aqueducts ensured the supply of water to the city of Nazca and the surrounding fields, allowing the cultivation of cotton, beans or potatoes in an arid region.. Learn more.
