Six Turkish security force members killed in Kurdish militant attack: security sources

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (Reuters) - Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants staged an attack near a military base in southeast Turkey's Siirt province, killing six Turkish security force members and wounding seven, security sources said on Friday.

A commercial fisherman operating from Lowestoft in Suffolk, England, Crisp joined the Royal Navy in 1915. He was killed in the North Sea defending his armed naval vessel, His Majesty's Smack Nelson, against an attack from a German submarine.
