Gregor Blanco will be back with the Giants this year, the outfielder announced on his Instagram account Monday after agreeing to a minor-league deal with his former team. “Another great opportunity,” he said, thanking the Giants. “I’m so happy and excited....to see everyone again in that clubhouse and to see all the fans and to dream together to finish on top again.” Blanco, who spent last season with the Diamondbacks, went on to say how happy and excited he and his family are that he is returning to San Francisco. Blanco, 34, hit .246 with three homers and 43 runs in 90 games with Arizona last year after signing a minor-league deal with the team before spring training.
